System Refurbishment Business Update

In the last year the establishment of Semi Scenic’s refurbishment business has seen a remarkable turnaround of systems which has led to the expansion of their current facility (“Semi Scenic Increase Capacity).

This month Semi Scenic has taken delivery of the 12th Lam Etch chamber for refurbishment at their dedicated refurb facility in the last 6 months, Lam Research has been the recipient of 6 of these systems. The variety of systems range from AutoEtch 490 right through to Alliance Process Modules.

There is now a clear distinction between this type of product offering & what some “third party refurb providers” are bringing to the market – these are fully inclusive packages in terms of refurbished system(s) complete with all necessary parts & applicable software licenses, coupled with a strong depth of continuing support including all necessary technical back-up. The risk for the customer is minimal with this concept & many OEM supported labour & parts warranties can be tailored to suit customer requirements.
